Do you regularly use diet pills or supplements? If so, which ones? Why?
In June 2007, Alli became the first Food and Drug Adminsitration over-the counter diet pill. Apparently, you take Alli before every meal that contains fat. It works by decreasing the amount of fat absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract during digestion. Research showed that taking Alli, and prescribing to a low fat diet and regular exercsie regimen allowed individuals to lose an average of 50 percent more weight than if they had dieted and exercised alone.
As an ACE certified fitness professional, I NEVER encourage individuals to take any kind of supplement without medical advice. The most I take on a daily basis is a multivitamin. Supplements and diet pills can have strange and unpleasant side effects. Thoughts?
