I have had an interesting August to say the least. In the sky we have had two eclipses. Eclipses tend to uncover what we have not been able to see…you could say they widen our perspective, open our awareness, wake us up in some regard. I was woken up this month about who I listen to when it comes to relationships in my life. When I choose to listen to myself and when I don’t. What stops us from listening all of the time? Is it that we have to be stopped in my tracks to get the message? And when we are stopped in our tracks while it comes as a surprise – do you find there is a small part of you that is not surprised? Interesting how awareness works. These baby steps to teach us to listen, deeply listen to the inner voice inside us, no matter what the outside perspective is. It is really own our perspective, each of our own knowing that is really what is true for each of us. Are we are all in training to listen attentively to ourselves? No matter what my emotions say, no matter what my mind thinks, no matter what society believes, the only real truth is based on what is right for you and what your own inner guidance is guiding you to do. The trick is staying true to that feeling, that voice, that knowing. Truth is based on our perception and our perception is based on our awareness to hold it all – the inner knowing, the illusion, the ego, the old pattern, all of it and still listen to ourselves. We are not here to save each other – we are here to save ourselves and by doing that we allow the other to heed their own call…as the famous Namaste prayer says…….
I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells
I honor the place in you which is of light, of love, of peace and of truth
When you are in that place in you
And I am in that place in me
We are One.
