    Need a buddy!!!

I get the feeling we are all running low on energy. It's cold and the holidays are over. Is anyone looking for a workout buddy?

As I am losing weight, my energy levels are going up, Joanne! I use spark people for buddies and communities, and to keep an overall check on what I am doing (fitness/eating/health), and Demand Fitness for exercise videos. Spark people have a few, but they are either demonstrations of strength training exercises, or very short (10 minutes) workouts. I also use yoga download for audio yoga sessions on my ipod. Between you all, I'm grand! Perhaps I could start a 'Demand Fitness' team on spark people? Would anyone be interested?

I did it! It will take me a bit to figure out all the bells and whistles...any suggestions?

Hi Joanne Spark People is quite a complex system, there is a lot going on there, the trick is to do as little or as much as you like on the site. Personally, I log my exercise, am involved with a few groups, and make the odd message board post. Some people track all exercise and food, use the journal facility to make notes about their success or failures on a day to day basis, post to their blog regularly, use the exercise videos and strength training planning, and use the menu planning, as well as posting regularly on the boards! Just depends on how much time you have. I find that logging in, and getting login points, is a step in the right direction when you are feeling lazy and unmotivated. Angie
